An example is tracking news, which can repeatedly appear in your feed, and you have to select which one will be sent to people in your company. The platform could also be much more helpful if it had an intelligence advisory, given that I notice that only the tracking of news from other sites and the search for keywords on the internet is done, but without a real intelligence in the filter of this information. I reviewed and actually selected their platform at a prior company, selecting them above another vendor based solely on price alone. The POC with this vendor was rather straightforward. They displayed and demo~d the functionality in a staged environment and gave me limited access to their product to POC it. It was fine. The UI was a bit clunky, and performing some needed operations was tricky and needed workarounds (like distributing intel to specific target audiences, something other vendors could do relatively easily). The search engine capability was very deep, and covered a lot of obvious and not-so-obvious intel sources. Organizing data within the tool was very nice utilizing a strong filtering capability and the use of "boards".However, once selected, it was like squeezing water from a stone to get the vendor's attention. The assigned CSM/project manager was unresponsive, and getting time on the calendar to set up an implementation timeline was close to impossible. I can't understand a vendor that goes to the trouble of securing your business and then has less-than-ordinary service to assist once you've signed a contract. Others were given the impression this platform could serve as a self-service CI tool, not requiring an analyst to manage. Silly.
