According to me the most strong point of Acumatica Cloud ERP is its Warehouse management and its integration with other systems like inventory and purchasing systems.
The integrator we selected was highly rated by Acumatica, but we felt was weak and we struggled in our implementation. Our implementation was late and over budget.

A good Cloud ERP solution

When we think about ERP, as a cloud ERP solution, this one is great. Because of being cloud based, it's very powerful to integrate and it also gives the flexibility to work on the go, even with a mobile device and internet.
Contras:
Cloud based comes with both, dependency on server makes it difficult when server is having an issue. Also because of that, costing increases.

Comentarios: Acumatica is a good system but the ability to customize it allows us to make it exactly what we need. It took some time to learn how to adapt it to our needs but every day it gets better and better for us.
Puntos a favor:
We can customize the system in many different ways. Individual users can customize their screen and various reports on their screen. Without coding, we can customize many things, create new fields, etc. This flexibility allows us to make the system suit the way we do business.
Contras:
The price is a bit high for a small business to get started. I want to use some features offered in other modules but they are quite expensive to add those.

Comentarios: The realization that we made a honorably mistake and should have selected a different system. And I fear that when we express our frustrations that they will kill off our service as they have expressed this directly to me in a veiled threat during one of our conference calls.

Contras:
Acumatica ERP software, in my experience, has been quite disappointing. It falls short in several areas, and I can't help but feel frustrated with its limitations. One major issue is the lack of basic reporting features right out of the box. Unlike other accounting software, there is no intuitive "drill down" function available anywhere in this ERP system. Instead, finding information requires a tedious search or running multiple reports on top of each other.What's worse is that certain essential reports are simply missing, forcing users to rely on costly implementation services to create custom reports. Even then, any necessary adjustments come with an additional financial burden. This lack of flexibility and the associated costs are significant drawbacks.The payroll system, a critical component of any ERP, is another letdown. Despite its high price tag, it fails to deliver reliable functionality. This can cause major disruptions to business operations and create unnecessary stress for users.Furthermore, when it comes to analyzing sales data and estimating costs and hours spent on a specific customer during the opportunity phase, Acumatica proves to be inadequate. The system lacks the necessary tools to input this information for opportunities, such as quotes or bids. This limitation severely hampers the ability to make informed business decisions.I could delve into more grievances, but it would only escalate my frustration. I do not recommend this system.

Effective ERP for e-commerce companies
Comentarios: Operating in the cloud provides us with numerous advantages, including accessibility from anywhere with an internet connection, scalability, and automated upgrades; it is a vital ERP solution in our everyday operations.
Puntos a favor:
We've been able to increase our customer base, order volume, and inventory thanks to Acumatica. Work that doesn't have any problems can be processed fast thanks to automation, and problems that need human intervention can be brought to light as soon as possible. Our stock is more precise than ever before.
Contras:
It's highly adaptable to the needs of any business, but tailoring it took us a long time, and the licensing, modification, and upkeep costs can add up to a lot, making it difficult to implement for startups.
Customizable to meet the needs of the HVAC Construction/Service Industry
Comentarios: We use Acumatica for Project Managment in construction, which I would say is the strongest part of this ERP platform. Linked to that we use the service module for scheduling service calls with our service technicians. Tied to both of these modules is inventory management and payroll. For the most part it has met the needs of each of these parts of our company.
Puntos a favor:
Acumatica is fairly simple to learn and is quite customizable to meet the needs of our HVAC construction/service industry.
Contras:
There are still some ways that it needs to improve in how the different modules work together. There are times where it is not that easy to follow the path between modules.
Growing ERP in it's Early Stages
Puntos a favor:
The ease of use and simplicity of the user interface. Very adaptable platform and has a growing API vendor list.
Contras:
Not as intuitive and lacks a large community database of support. There also aren't enough people trained to build out the architecture and a large dependence on 3rd party implementation/support.
Acumatica - Robbins
Comentarios: Overall we have had a very good experience using the Acumatica software.
Puntos a favor:
The system is very user friendly. Most of the screens have the ability to download to excel.
Contras:
The financial reporting could be improved. We are using the Velixo add on which gives us much more flexibility.
Best Modern Cloud ERP
Puntos a favor:
Actively listening to users, addressing common complaints or gaps in the product every single release. Licensing isn't per user. Useful, easy automation tools to streamline our order -> invoice process. Active community site.
Contras:
Release note system could use an overhaul- would like it to be easier to track changes, bug fixes, and known issues between releases.

Comentarios: Being able to analyze all project costs (including labor) has been a huge eye opener for management.

Project accounting module - labor & costs can be applied to each project and compared to initial budget to see what went right and what went wrong
Contras:
Dashboarding functionality - I am not a programmer - I don't understand the generic queries required to program the dashboards and have to pay our consultants to create them etc. I don't have the problem with spending the time doing it but my mind does not work that way. Very inefficient when I need to play around to get what I want then explain to some one else how I want it.

Contras:
The only things I would like to see changed / added are reports. I do not like the way that the reports need to be built. I know that Acumatica is adding reports and I am happy to wait until they are done.

A Modern ERP Software to Facilitate Running Business YOUR Way
Comentarios: As a developer, the learning curve was a little tough. As an end user, the free training material made it pretty easy to get up to speed on each functional area. Once we found a configuration that worked for us and got some experience and connections in the community, we have been able to create new screens and features that we could only dream of on our legacy system.

What can't be configured can be customized to add new functionality or just adjust core functionality. This allows us to mold the ERP software around our business in contrast to so many other software solutions.
Contras:
I really want a slice of inventory by valuation type. We use a suffix on our locations to get to where we need to be, but I'd like to be able to specify a single location for new, repair, broken, and any other classification we may want to make for a part and identify that the specific inventory is new, repair, broken, etc. From that, I should be able to pull a simple dashboard of how much inventory I have on hand that is new, repair, broken, etc. without having to use separate warehouses or locations.

Purchased with Aspire
Comentarios: Overall, Acumatica has done very well for us.

I like that it syncs well with Aspire. We love the reporting - our rep at High Touch helped greatly to set up the entire system and reports.
Contras:
The credit receipts from Aspire do not sync over to Acumatica. This should be rectified sooner rather than later. Also, writing reports is not easy; we used our rep at High Touch to write all the reports.
Alternativas consideradas:
ERP that creates value for the company!
Comentarios: We needed real ERP processes coming from a Hybrid solution of point to point software system. This system allows us to follow process strings.
Puntos a favor:
Many processes are streamlined and delivered with documentation and unique added features not normally provided by ERP vendors.
Contras:
Some of the error messages are still being developed so they can be archaic at times. (not a lot).
It's a great product if you've got the time to set it up right
Comentarios: We are still learning it at this point, having used it only a few years, but the more I learn about the system, the more I like it, tbh.

Acumatica is highly customizable and has a great support team. There is also alot of information available through Acumatica's learning material as well as forums where many answers are found.
Contras:
The most difficult part of Acumatica is if it's not fully brought on board and understood from the start, the cusomizations applied to the structure end up costing both time and money, because with each update, there's extra work to keep everything functioning the same. But, if you've got someone on your team who understands these sort of customizable cloud ERP systems, and the company, and this person is able to determine that Acumatica is a great fit, this is a great product for sure.

value for money and recommendable. Since this is unlimited users, we were able to give access to all our 1000+ employees and all of them use this application for their daily transactions.

the user license is not per user. it allows all our employees to have access on it.

Comentarios: Experience is good. It's just frustrating having to build everything from scratch.

I am not sure yet tbt. I am still using this product under a year now. I like the Cloud Aspect of it.
Contras:
Report Design Editor / Wiki Editor / Everything seems very 1999 and not Modernized WYWG.Approvals & Maps is a disaster putting together - Nothing saves you have to go back. The whole Editingfunction of it is very draconian and old!. Creating INstances & Tenants is a pain and Customization Projects having to put them in again is such a joke. Upgrading is not fun!.
