Comentarios: A pesar de la configuración inicial y la curva de aprendizaje, estoy muy satisfecho con mi experiencia con CoConstruct.

Comentarios: En general, mi experiencia con CoConstruct ha sido positiva. Sin duda ha mejorado la eficiencia y organización de mis proyectos.

La plataforma me permite rastrear y administrar fácilmente tareas, presupuestos y cronogramas. También aprecio la comunicación fluida que permite entre mi equipo, clientes y subcontratistas.

Contras:

Ojalá la aplicación móvil ofreciera más funcionalidades.

Evaluando CoConstruct

Comentarios: Si bien me encuentro dando mis primeros pasos con el mismo, creo que es una herramienta, que aprendiendo a usarla, me va a ser muy útil.En muchos casos, te permite visualizar partes de los proyectos, que por descuido, a veces se pasan por alto. Métricas y variables que no pueden fallar, siempre se pueden visualizar de forma dinámica, rápida y fácil.

Puntos a favor:

CoConstruct es un software que permite optimizar la gestión de los proyectos en un solo lugar. Es muy útil tener un programa, donde podamos revisar varias métricas modificables, en vez de andar migrando entre múltiples software al mismo tiempo.Realmente es interesante poder trabajar, sin tener que estar saltando de ventana en ventana, de programas en programas (que muchas veces, no se integran entre sí).

Contras:

Por el tiempo que llevo utilizando este software, solo puedo decir que, si el usuario no es ordenado con su trabajo, tiende a ser un poco difícil de entender. Pero en definitiva, no encuentro contras, ni problemas graves.

Mi uso de Buildertrend

Comentarios: Me ha ayudado a seguir la construcción y remodelación desde el inicio hasta el final de mis departamentos con el contacto directo de los contratistas, dándome una garantía de confianza y de un trabajo exitoso.

Me da la seguridad de seguir mis proyectos de construcción a cada momento del día, entre sus opciones de remodelación, la empresa me da información del proceso, fotos, asesoramiento para tomar una decisión acertada.

Contras:

La incorporación de más idiomas en su plataformas como el español, portugués, francés.

Lo que más me ha gustado del software Buildertrend es su amplia variedad de características. Se puede utilizar para administrar de forma eficaz los proyectos de construcción, desde el control de la agenda hasta el seguimiento de pagos. Además, ofrece una amplia variedad de herramientas gráficas para ayudar a los contratistas a administrar mejor los proyectos.

Contras:

Lo que menos me ha gustado del software Buildertrend es el hecho de que no ofrece soporte telefónico. Revolutionized my sales follow up

Comentarios: I used other CRMs in the past, but love using BuilderTrend. Its simple setup has allowed me to keep track of my customers as well as provide better follow up to my clients. I just utilize the Sales section of BuilderTrend, but it has improved my client relationships and increased my overall sales.

Puntos a favor:

Buildertrend is great--I love using the Activity Calendar and Lead Report to keep track of my follow up with my customers. I can use activity notes to remember what I discussed with customers when we last spoke, and this helps me engage in better dialogue when I follow up with customers. Our installation team loves using the project management feature to keep track of our installs and provide an easy transition from sales to installation.

Contras:

The user interface is kind of clunky, especially on the app. Sometimes it is difficult to find stuff and the filters can get annoying.

Working with Buildertrend

Comentarios: Working with it for about 1 1/2 years and very satisfied

Puntos a favor:

In buildertrend you have the ability to keep all information from your client in one program. From beginning to end of each project you are able to track process of jobs and payments of jobs. You cam add change orders and show you payments for product and labor.

Contras:

No cons. Easy to navigate. Cost was a little high in our opinion.

Builder Trend Review from and established Custome Builder

Comentarios: It has been disappointing. If you are a Coconstruct user I would recommend you wait as long as you can and then either switch to Builder Trend or at that point maybe there will be some better software in the marketplace. Six months in, and tens of thousands of dollars implementing we are 50/50 on whether we will keep it. We keep trying to find work around. We have 10 people on our team and no one is pleased.
We are hopeful that they will change. We have asked why they do not adopt more features from CoConstruct and we are told they are considering it. Unfortunately they do not list these changes on the Road Map of changes they say they are working on. We are beginning to think they really do not plan on adopting more of Coconstruct and just say they are to attract Coconstruct's loyal followers.

Puntos a favor:

The product does look good and they seem well capitalized which bodes well for their longevity. They also bought the software that we used, CoConstruct, and had said they were going to merge the two, taking the best of both software.

Contras:

We moved from CoConstruct. Buildertrend has a ton of features but it is not intuitive and does not tie together well. It is a mile wide but an inch thick. It is not designed for the Custom Home Builder, it is for a production Builder software. It does not tie well to Quickbooks either. Overall Builder Trend has lots of features, but they "live" in different silos and one function does not communicate well with the other function. The estimate software is bad, and way too complicated. You cannot condense multiple estimate lines into love category, etc.... The specifications tab does not translate to the selections. You cannot add attachments to the specifications. CoConstruct was a beautiful software that worked wonderfully and was design to be efficient. Builder Trend is not.

Love the messaging system, but no longer receiving updates

Comentarios: Our Company has used CoConstruct for a number of years. There are definitely some specific features that we would love to see implemented. But overall, CoConstruct has given us the ability to manage all our projects. Our sales team loves creating estimates using the program, and scheduling is simple and easy to use.

Puntos a favor:

My favorite feature from CoConstruct is the messages system. Clients can read and respond directly through their personal email, which is a real bonus for older clients who are technology illiterate. It also allows us to keep all of our conversations centralized and documented. And mid conversation, we can toggle between a team-only chat within a client conversation which is such an amazing feature.

Contras:

They are no longer updating CoConstruct. While they say that they won't sunset the program in the near future, it still feels like it is on a countdown timer before you are forced to switch to BuilderTrend.

Buildertrend has all the features a construction business might need

Comentarios: Buildertrend has been a very helpful solution for our construction business. We use it to manage and monitor the activities of our field personnel, we use it for quoting, mobile app, work orders, and more. It works ver well and is priced relativel lower than some of the competitors. All in all, it's been a treat for our operations.

Puntos a favor:

I think what separates is from other similar tools is that it's completely customized for construction. It has estimating and quoting, work orders, task management, field service monitoring, you name it. It saves you from having to buy and use a dozen different software for each thing.

Contras:

It's kind of confusing an all over the place in the beginning, and there isn't a lot of support documentation online. Pretty easy to use once you get the hand of it though.

Expensive comprehensive construction software

Comentarios: The learning curve is steep. Very time consuming to learn.

I found the Price to be too high for our small construction firm to handle. .

Great Platform - Bit Pricey

Comentarios: Overall, we would still be using BuilderTrend if it was more affordable, and if the features that are not compatible with a Canadian company could be accommodated. It would also be helpful to have Canadian billing to keep the cost more affordable for small business.

Puntos a favor:

The platform itself is very well set up. Once you complete the BuilderTrend role training it is very easy to navigate all aspects of the system from lead status to completion.

Contras:

Compared to other platforms that are set up almost the same, we found BuilderTrend to be quite expensive. There are also features that are not compatible with a Candian company as they are American, which also added to the overall cost due to the exchange rate.

The ability to track change orders was a huge improvement to our billing process, the scheduling is also very user friendly and easy to make small changes without having to redo a whole schedule.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

Comentarios: In short, awful. I would never do business with this company after the way we were treated. The salesman was hands down the most arrogant and unprofessional person I have spoken to in my research for a new PSA management software for our firm. I would avoid builder trend at all costs!

The features they offer are great but their company culture and the people they employ are unprofessional and rude.

Contras:

The salesman assigned to our account was very rude and unprofessional. We were ready to purchase the software but decided not to because we were sooo turned off by their rude and unprofessional salesman.

Now that our company has grown, this program meets our needs better

Comentarios: Last year when we first were shown the program we decided not to go forward. Now our that our company has grown, we see that BuilderTrend will be crucial for keeping ourselves and our crews organized. The rocky portions of the software do not outway the usefulness to our company. There is a learning curve and a lot of things to iron out as we implement it, but I can see it being a huge asset compared to other programs once we nail it down. On top of that, I know their team will keep improving the features and adding more features to a program that is already rich with features.

Puntos a favor:

The best feature in this program is communication and scheduling. Also, where other programs have to borrow from many 3rd party programs to achieve their functions, this program is able to incorporate all in one. We are using it for every step of the construction process, from sales to estimates, to job management and scheduling and invoicing. Other neat features include requesting bids to subs and vendors within the program, financing for customers, interactive and customize-able selections for customers within the program. There are other features not mentioned in this review as well. The main point is that this program offers all management needs for builders and contractors, and the software team continues to update and add features according to the requests and needs of those who are using the program. Also, where competitors charge extra for each user, this company includes unlimited users in their package, as well as unlimited subs and vendors. Some of the functions you would have to pay extra for in other programs like scheduling for crew etc. are included in their main package. Therefore the price, and what you get for your money is way better.

Contras:

This software is a little more difficult to learn than other competing programs, due to it's complexity and depth of features. At times it's a bit overwhelming, though that is to be expected with the level of depth. Also some other programs have a general appearance which makes the program more inviting and user friendly. That being said, we still moved forward with this program because of the need for more features without having to pay all the extra money. One feature they really need to improve is their proposal builder. They have good formatting options and cost codes/ item catalogs where you can build price lists within the system, but when you add items into the estimate or create a big template, when you want to go and edit info like quantities etc. you have to go through an ocean of items that are not clearly formatted (they have a worksheet tab for editing items, and a format tab for grouping and changing layout for final appearance, but the worksheet portion is unformatted, and in the format section you cannot delete items or change them at all. Therefore I found the proposal functions to be a bit rocky to deal with. However, buildertrend users can vote on improvements for the program and so there is at least light at the end of the tunnel.

CoConstruct makes it clean!

I spent a couple of months trying out a multitude of project management software, hoping to find the best for the cheapest. Of course that is never the case ;). CoConstruct was immediately the one that stood out. It had most of the features of the high end systems, and way more than the more 'tech industry' focused packages. In the end, even though it was a big step up in the price I was willing to pay, I am SO glad I chose CoConstruct! They are an amazing company with amazing support and have held my hand through the whole setup process (which takes time for sure, but worth every second as it makes everything SOOO much quicker and cleaner once you have it setup!). I use ClickUp for my personal management, and CoConstruct for my business management. If you are like me and about to embark on the days long search for a project management system, and have somewhat of a budget, stop right here, CoConstruct is it!

Contras:

It feels a bit outdated. The UI is pretty damn clean which I like, but could use a facelift. I notice it seems to be all written in .asp? I heaven't seen that in over a decade, might be a lot of why it's running slower :/

Builder for future

Puntos a favor:

Customer support was excellent . Navigation through modules . Integration with QBooks.

Contras:

this platform mostly design for residential construction but we are municipal /commercial contractors.

Good Product

Comentarios: Aside from the above issues, overall, BT is a good product.

I like that I can keep track of open jobs with minimal effort.

Contras:

I hate that every time there is an update to the software it changes features and removes templates. I also am unhappy that the scheduling feature no longer flows the way that it used to with predecessors.

Had some trouble navigating at first but once you get used to the platform it’s really nice.

Co-construct Review

Comentarios: Overall the experience has been very good - as I continue to learn more about the software I see where I can improve my business simply by using it more and better.

Functionality and its ability to help with communication and coordination of the project.

Contras:

The phone app can tend to be slow to start up and I cant create a project from it on the run.

Not True Estimating Software

Comentarios: I was looking for true estimating software, which this is not. It was portrayed that it could be. True estimating software assigns labor units as you do the takeoff. This software does not. The takeoff can be done faster by hand, for the job sizes that this is designed for. There is no true free trial. Setup is very tedious, and training drags out. This is not for the self-employed, unless the person can afford a lot of downtime to learn. Had zero contact with anyone, but they continued taking my money for 4 months. I got nothing for all of that money that they took. I regret my decision to try this software.

Contras:

Not true estimating software, but was portrayed as such. No labor units. The free trial is not really free, because extensive training and setup is needed to even use the software. Need to have someone to set up the software, and learn it fast to be able to recoup the expense of the software. Continued taking money out of my account, even with no contact for months. It's better to purchase on-site software, and have someone train on site. That way you're not paying a fortune every month, for something you cant use.
