ACL Review

Comentarios: Overall, our team is satisfied with the ACL tool. We are currently using it to track analytics projects and will begin to integrate more risks and controls in the coming weeks.

Puntos a favor:

The ACL tool is easy to use and offers convenient reporting.

Contras:

The ACL tool needs better or more configurable way to track progress on projects. All steps should not be weighted equally. Overall, the scheduler could be enhanced with more options.

Good Analytics Solutions

Comentarios: I love working with ACL and been working for more than 20 years now. But for new users not in use with coding techniques or data analysis logic it's not so easy to start

Easy to implement and use. Has lot of commands ready to use by auditors to perform tests and a knowledge base you can use to accelerate your data analysis

Contras:

coding is sometimes difficult for automating analysis.

ACL Robots

Puntos a favor:

Features that are most impactful 1. Ease of Data Extraction and connections to various ERPs and Databases. 2.Functionalities like Fuzzy Duplicates, Joins which helps to perform Descriptive and Diagnostic analysis 3. Log of steps performed to achieve Data Analytics Results.

Contras:

Dashboard features should be similar to Tableau. Export of results to Excel - One should be able to do the formatting similar to Excel within ACL for Windows application itself.

Solid Software

Comentarios: Overall, it has helped automate some of our audit processes. However, sometimes it has limitations and we have to use a SQL/Teradata, Tableau, or Excel which defeats the purpose at times.

Puntos a favor:

One of my favorite, and most helpful things about ACL is the data import. It is clean and quick, and very easy to learn. Also the scripting is very helpful because you can rerun processes without redoing the work and have scripts run automatically.

Contras:

There are features of ACL that make it difficult to work with if you are trying to take notes or change a cell's information. For example, you can't really add a new column with your notes in specific cells.

A must have technology!

Puntos a favor:

Very helpful in doing analysis GB worth of data. Saves a lot of time. Relied upon by management as it is able to preserve integrity of data.

Contras:

For new release of product, I need to download the whole installer instead instead of just having the updates. But other than that, none that I think of as of this time.

ACL for Audit Management

Comentarios: Payroll benefits and improvements.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of managing large data and the ease of applying scripts compared to MS office.

Contras:

The history and the scripts are not easy to find and store.

MY ONGOING EXPERIENCE WITH HIGHBOND

Comentarios: We re able to analyse large volume of data, 100% on an ongoing basis. A very good tool continuous monitoring and auditing. Am sure we shall get more benefits once we complete when we create robots.

Puntos a favor:

We find Robots more relevant to our environment. We get a lot of transactions every minute, monitoring that traffic can be hectic. The coming in of Robots will help us get real it well. The support is perfect. At one time we delayed renewing subscription, but the support team helped us alot.

Contras:

Budget constraints. We sometimes have challenges to honor renewals on time. We had to reduce the licenses, so that the company is able to meet.

Great Solution for GRC , Analytics and Automation

Puntos a favor:

Flexibility in solutioning with ability to do analytics and automation and reimporting results to create info worthy reporting. And not to mention the good and fast support given.

Contras:

Should be bringing in more technological update into the solution

HighBond - Results Module

Puntos a favor:

We are using HighBond in our daily Controls Governance, SoD Reporting and other Continuous Control Monitoring. Currently this cause us the better management of monitoring controls thus reducing risks.

Contras:

Least liked about HighBond results module is that, even the administrator can not extract or download all the attachment at once. Theres no mass download of submitted supports from the users.

Simplify your Analytics with ACL

Comentarios: Software is easy to use and easy to learn. Reduce the time required for the analysis. Easy to share the results with Stockholders.

Puntos a favor:

Scripting Part and the overall implementation of the project is very easy

Contras:

Actually, there is nothing to say..... Awesome product

HighBond - One Stop GRC

Puntos a favor:

Ease of use and user friendly. Implementation and data accessibility to mulitple data connectors.

Contras:

Minor bugs that pop up every now and then which hamper the otherwise wonderful experience.

HighBond is a must have tool

Puntos a favor:

We have now automated our audit tests using galvanize, meaning our scripted tests which to us are our audit robots, automatically run the audit tests and just send the exceptions reports to email to the auditors or audit clients. We have connect the solution to our SAP ERP system, Active directory and other SQL server applications

Contras:

The software requires some level of scripting training.

Highbond Review

Comentarios: for me, Highbond is the best AMS for now. There are many features that we can use for our business.

Puntos a favor:

Every feature in this software really helpful when it comes to managing our audit tasks.

Contras:

there are certain things that I think this software needs to improve, which is when we wanna do data migration. maybe it will be much easier if we can bulk upload our data into Highbond.

GRC and Alanalytivs_Highbond

Puntos a favor:

Their analytics tool is great as well as their support team. Their GRC platform is simple and user-friendly.

Contras:

GRC functionalities need improvement and their solution and services are kind of pricey, but worth it.

Highbond is easy to use

Ease of implementation and use was very important and this software provided that.

Contras:

There are a lot of areas that require clicks. It would be better if there was more seamless navigation between projects.

ACL for GRC/Audit

Comentarios: We wanted a tool to address our management of risks, related audits and an added benefit of managing our compliance program. Additionally, we wanted the tool to be able to analyze data and help in managing risks and developing continuous monitoring types of reviews. ACL fit the bill.

Puntos a favor:

ACL is an easy to use GRC system. The focus is not on Sox or compliance management, but rather an integrated approach to risk and audits. This makes it more suited to teams that focus on risk management and operational reviews aligned with these risks. Sox modules are well developed and easy to use, but is not the primary focus of the tool. Added benefit of utilizing data analytics (which ACL is known for) in the audits and risk assessments as well as being able to build in continuous monitoring opportunities.

Contras:

There isn't a lot to dislike about the software. Some of the drawbacks are within the Sox/compliance module, primarily stemming from the fact that the tool is not designed specifically for that purpose. However, we are seeing with each new release that some of these are being addressed.

Acl is great software for analytic. The function is various.

Contras:

The price is quit expensive. Hopefully galvanize can introduce with new attractive package

Navigating from one screen to the next is sometimes a challenge.

Great product for analytics

Comentarios: Everyone I have meet with and worked with has been amazing. The webinars always give me great insight and tips to take back to my scripting.

Puntos a favor:

I like how easy it is to use the Macros to create scripts that can be used for repetitive tasks. The free online support center and training classes help learning the system a breeze.

Contras:

I wish the desktop and web/robotics systems worked together a little easier and did not require you to upload data to use the robotics function.

ACL Data Analytics

Puntos a favor:

We have been using ACL for the past decade for data analytics. The software is helping us to do 100% analysis of the data population we are evaluating.

Contras:

Because of cost implications, our ACL licenses are limited.

Puntos a favor:

Easy to pick up and learn. Allows you to rapidly analyze datasets and action.

Contras:

Very slow performance. Doing basic things analogous to 'a subselect in SQL' is more painful than it needs to be.
