Comentarios: Una mierda, como ya descrito

Puntos a favor:

Es muy fácil de usar y muy intuitivo...hasta que empieza a tener errores o directamente no te deja entrar en tu cuenta. El servicio técnico es pésimo, pero además si no puedes entrar en tu cuenta, no hay servicio técnico de ningún tipo: ni chat, ni email, ni teléfono ni nada...la única opción es desde tu cuenta. Hace días que da error y no nos deja entrar. No hay manera de hablar con nadie...así que solo tenemos la opción de cambiar de proveedor

Contras:

Creación de sitios web rápida y asequible con Weebly

Puntos a favor:

Weebly ofrece una manera fácil y rentable de crear un sitio web sin necesidad de HTML u otras habilidades de codificación.

Contras:

Desde que Square se hizo cargo, la integración se ha vuelto más prominente, lo que puede ser abrumador para aquellos que solo se enfocan en crear un sitio web.

Reinventado a ventas online

Comentarios: Usamos para la venta online una tienda de weebly en el que los productos son asientos (eventos), por si os sirve de algo, vamos, como las empresas de venta de entradas.

Puntos a favor:

Antes eran unas webs tipo drag&drop muy sencillas, rápidas y con energía verde, ahora está mucho más orientado a las ventas online, y la verdad, lo han hecho muy bien. Tienen una gestión de inventario muy sencilla y útil, un cálculo del precio con/sin impuestos según país, de envío...

Contras:

Aceptar Paypal solo en el plan Performance te obliga a tener que pagar el plan más caro, a sabiendas de que es uno de los métodos más reconocidos y seguros para pagar.

Weebly es genial para emprendedores

Comentarios: Fue el primer programa que utilice para crear mi sitio web -aunque no me gustaba la marca de agua- pero me ayudo a tener presencia y un sitio web que mostrará lo que hacia en mi negocio, tenía una cervecería artesanal y me sirvió mucho cuando emprendí, ya que ayudo a muchos de los usuarios a convertirse en clientes cuando encontraban en mi sitio lo que hacia y lo que podían encontrar de cerveza artesanal. Sin tener presupuesto, la versión gratuita me ayudo mucho a dar el salto a un sitio web más completo. Estoy agradecido de haber encontrado weebly en mis inicios y que hayan tenido la opción gratuita, así di a conocer mi negocio en sus inicios. Ahora hay sitios que ofrecen el servicio de constructor de sitios y ofrecen weebly, una acertado producto.

Puntos a favor:

Es super fácil de usar e intuitiva. Tiene módulos para crear tu sitio web a tu gusto y como uno quiere. La función fácil es genial para cuando emprendes y no tienes mucho capital.

Contras:

Que es un tanto limitado las función gratuita y el sitio que construyas llevara la marca de agua. Que parece que los precios no pueden ser muy accesibles o atractivos para emprendedores o personas que no saben de sitios web y que quieren iniciar con uno.

Comentarios: Excelente, me ha ayudado a solucionar los problemas de marketing y comunicación de muchos clientes que están comenzando en el mundo empresarial y muchas veces lo que necesitan es un espacio en línea donde ofrecer sus productos o servicios.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que más me gusta del Weebly es que es muy fácil para usar, tiene una muy buena interfaz que ayuda al desarrollo de una página web sobre todo para quienes están emprendiendo.

Contras:

Lo que no me ha gustado es que en su versión gratuita no puedes implementar muchas características, pero se deja trabajar una web a pesar de esto.

Great For Those With Little Experience

Comentarios: Overall, this would be my go-to platform to build a fast and easy website for any friends who need something great looking but manageable with little experience or learning curve.

Puntos a favor:

The best thing about Weebly is the simplicity of building a very professional looking website with little or no site-building experience. If WordPress is out of reach for you but you need a solid professiona looking site for your small business, Weebly is the way to go. I built several websites for other companies in the past using this platform with the idea that they can then manage it themselves without any technical knowledge. This was the perfect platform for this and among other similar platforms definitely seemed to be the easiest to use.

Contras:

There definitely is a ceiling of what you can do with this platform. From there you will want to move to something more advanced like WordPress. This isn't necessarily a knock on Weebly though, they never designed it to be a WordPress rival in general.

It is easy and cheap and you can get a website up quickly

Comentarios: Overall I have been a loyal customer with now 3 websites for probably 10 years. I like them better than Go Daddy, well at least from 10 years ago. I think the Square addition should be a little less imposing, I know it is their company and I use them as my credit card processing and POS and the integration is cool but Weebly I think should be about the website first. It a quick way to get a website with a domain up and minimal knowledge cheap though so overall I do like the product.

Puntos a favor:

I like how you do not have to know HTML and a whole bunch of other modern languages. It is quick and easy to launch a website and a trusted company that is not a scam which the internet is filled with. I like the shell overall and have 3 different websites with them.

Contras:

When Square took over it made it much harder to navigate through the shell to build on the websites and it is not customizable enough for individual companies. Also I don't like how they try and force you into multiple expensive subscriptions such as (custom)@(your name.yourdomain) they want to try and make you think you have to pay google all this money and you do not. There are many things there where I feel like they should be honest and give you choices.

Business Owner using it for 3 different businesses

Comentarios: Clean and simple. We've used it for 3 of our businesses. Super easy platform.

Unfortunately, going back after you adjust something is a challenge. It's not as simple as a "back" button

Easy Website Platform

Comentarios: Overall experience with Weebly has been good. I've been using Weebly for several website over a number of years and it has satisfied my needs.

Puntos a favor:

Weebly is a effective platform for building and managing a website without web development knowledge or experience. The system is simple to use and the learning curve is not onerous.

Contras:

While Weebly offers numerous plug-ins to enhance website, the features of the plug-ins tend to be limited particularly for editing.

Basic option if you want a free website build but there are better (and also free) options out there

Puntos a favor:

Almost nothing. The base building software is free but it is extremely basic. The websites look like they are straight out of 1999 geocities templates, so if you are nostalgic, this is a great platform for you.

Contras:

Where to start. Basic builds. Overly simplistic interface that may be easy to build on but looks downright terrible. HORRIBLE customer service. We switched owners of the site when I took over the website management and they merged my account with the previous owner giving both of us access to each other's personal information, including access to payment information and admin access to all other websites on our profiles. Customer service offered a 2 month extension on our free plan as an "I'm sorry" and brushed off the data breach without ever explaining how they let it happen besides promising to tell the engineers. This was after being passed back and forth between the Square customer service and multiple Weebly customer service reps over the course of nearly 90 minutes.

Create your website or blog with ease using Weebly

Comentarios: I created a website with ease using Weebly. However, I decided to change the WordPress, not too long after building my website and blog.

Puntos a favor:

I really liked the tools provided by Weebly to build your own website or blog. It was super easy to build on with the tools that are provided.

Contras:

There was nothing I didn’t like about the platform.

Stream lines my business uploads

Comentarios: Love it. I am so happy that they have an app that I was able to install from the Apple Store.

Puntos a favor:

Being able to run my website from my iPad is HUGE! Such an easy program to use with Square. They knocked this out of the park.

Contras:

I have not ran into anything that I do not like yet. I have been using the app for about a month at the time of this review.

Great options for a self-published author

Comentarios: I love what I can do with Weebly. I use one of the smaller package options and it allows me to apply my logo to the menu tab, as well as knock the weebly.com off my website address. I found it easy to set up photos and link them to other websites, making my home page set-up exactly as it needed to be for an author. The package I'm using also opened up the option to create a password protected page. I haven't used that option and I doubt I will. I haven't needed it up to this point. It's nice to know it's available, though. Creating a landing page to add to my social media sites was also pretty easy to do.

Puntos a favor:

Weebly was so easy to set up and use. The drag and drop features can't be beat. The free to pro features are clearly outlined to help you decide which one will work best for your needs.

Contras:

It's clearly created with fast, reliable internet in mind. My internet is not so fast, since our ISP uses cell towers to bounce signals around. We're a rural area and with only one company providing internet service, if lots of people are online, I can't even use the site. The editor just refuses to open.

Weebly is an incredible option for building beautiful websites!

I have built several websites with Weebly and other competitors. Here's what I like most about Weebly: - It's incredibly easy to use! Weebly offers a drag and drop interface that anyone can get the hang of using. - Reliable and error free - I've rarely experienced loading/saving errors. It's a reliable platform. - Weebly comes loaded with a variety of editable templates to choose from. - No advanced coding skills are needed, bit there is room for that if you have that skillset. - Pricing is among the best - even the free version is great. - There are great tutorials if you find yourself lost or needing help. - I think it's great for using with students It's a great introduction platform for students in website design. The blog design is a great option for students.

Contras:

There's little to complain about with Weebly in my opinion, but know your purpose or intentions. If you want to build advanced sites with lots of content or sites that require passwords or money transfers, it may be beneficial to look at other platforms. You are somewhat limited with what you can do/create or the analytics you can track/collect.

Great for beginners, business owners, or hobbyists

The software is very easy to use. I literally built Weebly websites when I was about 10 years old, before I knew a lick of HTML. I've since used it to build several unused sites and a couple of active ones. I have one up now that's for a liquor store my parents own, and since they didn't need anything fancy they were able to save hundreds if not thousands on making their website by simply having me do it easily on Weebly.

Contras:

I would recommend sticking with Weebly as your webhosting service if you're going to build the site here because they really don't make it easy to integrate with a separate web hosting service. I also question the dynamic capabilities of Weebly's site builder without usage of manual JS code. I haven't looked much into the paid plug-ins, though, so if that's what people are using then it may be possible.

Great product once you get past the learning curve

Comentarios: I enjoy using the software and I would strongly recommend it.

Contras:

Like any other software, it takes some time to get to know how it works and to be effective and efficient using the product. This is key for someone, like myself, who provides web design servicess through a consulting capacity.

Had a website up and running in 1 hour!

Comentarios: When starting my business, I was looking at different website creation tools. On Weebly's first page, I saw a template that I liked and, since I didn't want to go down the rabbit hole of choosing from thousands of templates, I went with Weebly. I also liked that you can port your website to another platform if you want to leave Weebly. But after 5 years, I'm still with Weebly. I'm not a tech genius, but I can make changes to the site myself and it doesn't take much time to figure out what I need to do to make the site look the way I want. Seriously, after signing on with Weebly, I had a basic site up and running in one hour!

Puntos a favor:

I love that Weebly is easy to use and doesn't confuse me with a million different options.

Contras:

Mailchimp doesn't integrate well with Weebly, so this can cause some issues. There are limitations with popups and forms, so that can be a bit of an issue, but I've made it work.

Weebly Is Too Much for Beginners

Comentarios: As a designer, I spent A LOT of time figuring out the reseller portal. For my client, we were limited as to where we could place images and content. It was very frustrating. We could add HTML, but who wants to do that if the whole purpose of drag and drop is to be able to have a beginner do it quickly and painlessly. Customer service was NOT helpful either.

Weebly had some nice backgrounds. Some of the templates we good as well. There was really nothing else.

Contras:

It's so complicated and so limiting! I did a couple of Websites for a client because it was monthly payment and it was REALLY low cost, but we paid for it in lost time.

Easy to Use Drag and Drop Website Builder

Comentarios: I love Weebly and currently use it for my website.

I love Weebly. I started off using Weebly, and then came back to using Weebly after trying two other website builders. What I like about Weebly is its simple interface. It's very user and beginner friendly. It's drag and drop website builder is intuitive for anyone. Now that Weebly has partnered with Square it has a lot more all-in-one functionally. You can have a blog, email marketing, Facebook posts, point of sale, appointments, eCommerce, and more.

Contras:

Orginally the drag and drop editor was a little slow, but since they have partnered with Square it's been fast.

Weekly is my absolute favorite!

Comentarios: This is my absolute favorite blog site! Other sites like blogger are super difficult to use, but with weekly you don’t have to know much about editing as they provide the tools for you! Plus side is that you don’t really have to be premium, I use the free version and my storytelling needs were met.
